Project details

Doorstep Adventures aims to show that the best adventures truly are the homemade kind. Their emphasis is on supplying quality products to facilitate fun and quality together-time, helping families get the most out of their time in the great outdoors. Doorstep Adventures required branding and logo design, and an eCommerce online shop enabling them to sell their products securely online. Quickly growing from this stage into a bricks and mortar shop, the project is ongoing and increasing to support the offline shop launch in July 2010.


Web Design and Development - eCommerce

The design was required to not only clearly aim at their target market of families, but also retain an upmarket feel, in keeping with Doorstep Adventures ethos of quality family time and quality products. The eCommerce website enables Doorstep Adventures to sell their entire range of products online, which are clearly categorised into 'At the Beach', 'Fun Outdoors' and 'In the Garden', allowing customers to easily navigate through different scenarios and their corresponding products. A blog area enables Doorstep Adventures to keep customers up to date with latest news and happenings, with an option for customers to share their own adventure stories for a chance to win products. Site administration features include automated Google product feeds, customer trend tracking, sales reporting to compare weekly/monthly sales and a product feed to two other websites.

Print, Design and Marketing

Branding and logo design were required to portray a sense of family adventure, whilst retaining a more mature and upmarket edge.

Shop front signage design, print and online based marketing and packaging accessories are currently being created, ready for shop opening in July 2010.
